Whether you’ve been grinding since arcade days or picked up a controller last week, you’ve got a spot here. Fighting games are hard. We get it. We’re here to celebrate the wins—big and small—and laugh at the losses together. Beginner? Casual? Competitor? All the same to us. You play, you’re in.
Every player we’ve sent to EVO, every teenager we’ve coached through bracket anxiety, every streamer we’ve boosted, every newcomer who walked into their first offline event nervous as hell—that’s us. We organize the events, but the community runs them. Volunteers help at every stage. Seniors mentor juniors. Winners post tech. Losers ask questions. No gatekeeping, no ego (okay, some ego—we are talking about fighting games here).
Competition brings people together, but the community is what makes them stay. Our events give players of all skill levels a place to compete, learn, and meet others. As people return, opponents become familiar faces and each tournament helps strengthen the wider community.
The community is built through the contributions of its players. Some compete internationally, some volunteer at events, and others help newcomers find their place. The more experienced happily share what they know and the newer players ask freely — that is what makes a community where everyone can improve and contribute in their own way.
Hungary’s been sleeping on the FGC. We’re waking it up. Our goal: get Hungary into the top tier of European fighting game nations, develop ambitious young talent, and prove that a community built on passion and friendship can actually compete.
